Coordinated by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, Commuter Connections connects employees to commute tools, incentives, and support designed to make everyday travel easier and more sustainable.
Guaranteed Ride Home
Worried about getting stranded if you do not drive to work?
The Guaranteed Ride Home program provides up to six free rides home per year for eligible employees who use commute alternatives. Rides can be used in situations such as:
- Illness
- Personal or family emergencies
- Unscheduled overtime
This program removes one of the biggest barriers to choosing transit, carpooling, biking, or walking.
CommuterCash Rewards Program
Turn your commute into rewards.
The CommuterCash Rewards Program lets you earn points when you log eligible trips, including:
- Public transit
- Carpooling or vanpooling
- Biking or walking
Points can be redeemed for cash and other incentives, rewarding you for choosing sustainable commute options.
